After two nights right in the middle of nowhere with an outdoor shower, tent and compost toilet I was off towards New Plymouth. Along the coast with many beaches and strong winds for surfers on one side and in contrast to that Mount Taranaki on the other side. So wherever I looked out of the window there was something nice to see. The sun was out again after a really cold night. So honestly I am grateful for a proper room with bathroom again. Sorry, not going to be a camper ever…
The new B&B is lovely. If you look out one side you see the sea, look out the other side and you see Mount Taranaki. I will get closer to the mountain during my stay.

Ich hoffe, du hast heute Nacht besser geschlafen, ohne zwei- oder mehrbeinige Störungen. Nicht jeder ist zum Camper geboren!
Hier ist alles OK, kalt und frostig. Silvester wirft seine Schatten voraus, es gab schon vereinzelte Böller. Der alljährliche Wahnsinn! Du bist uns ja dieses Mal ein Tag voraus!
